1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, browsing, or using the Tukatuu mobile applications or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services immediately.
2. Platform Services & Orders
Tukatuu provides an online marketplace connecting consumers with local merchants (restaurants, grocery stores, T-Mart) and independent delivery riders across Nepal.
- Order Placement: Once you submit an order, it is transmitted to the merchant for preparation.
- Pricing & Taxes: All prices listed on the app are determined by the respective merchants. Applicable local taxes and small order or delivery surcharges will be shown at checkout before payment.
- Delivery Estimates: Delivery ETAs provided in the app are estimates based on distance, traffic conditions in Kathmandu Valley, and merchant preparation times.
3. Payments & Digital Gateways
Tukatuu supports multiple secure payment methods including eSewa, Khalti, international debit/credit cards (via Stripe), and Cash on Delivery (COD) where available.
Users agree to provide valid payment credentials. In case of payment failure or transaction disputes, our support team will reconcile records with the respective gateway provider.
4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
Users, vendors, and delivery partners agree not to:
- Place fictitious, abusive, or fraudulent orders.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse delivery riders, vendor staff, or customer support agents.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt platform APIs, databases, or socket servers.
- Register fake accounts or manipulate referral codes and loyalty discounts.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any legal disputes arising out of the use of Tukatuu shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
